The 261st Cyberspace Operations Squadron is located in Van Nuys, California. 

The mission of the 261st Cyberspace Operations Squadron is to provide Cyber mission assurance and threat  mitigation support to the United States Critical Infrastructure Key Resources, while support domestic operations for the State of California.

Mission Statement:
to empower the mission by defending the DODIN and the State of California through threat-focused, intelligence-driven Defensive Cyber Operations against malicious cyber activities.
