Lieutenant Colonel Danielle M. Hoffman is the Deputy Wing Commander, 195th Wing, California Air National Guard, located at Beale Air Force Base, California. As the Deputy Wing Commander she ensures the 800 Airmen assigned to the wing are properly organized, trained, and equipped to effectively execute tasked federal and state missions.
Lieutenant Colonel Hoffman graduated from Texas A&M University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and commissioned as a second lieutenant. She completed Undergraduate Air Battle Management Training at Tyndall AFB, Florida in 2006. Following her training, Lieutenant Colonel Hoffman was assigned to the 12th Airborne Command and Control Squadron, Robins AFB, Georgia, where she served as an E-8C JSTARS Evaluator and Instructor Air Weapons Officer and deployed four times. In 2009, Lieutenant Colonel Hoffman was assigned to the 606th Air Control Squadron, Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany. During this period, she deployed twice and delivered lethal command and control for 492 troops-in-contact engagements and 505 Special Operations Forces missions. In 2012, Lieutenant Colonel Hoffman joined the Pennsylvania Air National Guard and was assigned to the 111th Attack Wing where she held various wing staff roles. In 2015, Lieutenant Colonel Hoffman assumed command of the 111th Communications Flight. In July 2018, Lieutenant Colonel Hoffman transferred to the Texas Air National Guard and assumed command of the 147th Communications Flight. In 2021, she was assigned as the Wing Inspector General for the 147th Attack Wing and led her team to numerous accolades at Air National Guard, Air Combat Command, and Headquarters Air Force levels. Prior to her current position, Lieutenant Colonel Hoffman was the Wing Inspector General, 147th Attack Wing, Texas Air National Guard, Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base, Texas.
