261st COS recognizes 2019 deployment achievements for 20 SMs
Members of the California Air National Guard’s 261st Cyberspace Operations Squadron (261 COS) stand at attention during a medal presentation ceremony, September 11, 2021, at Sepulveda Air National Guard Station, Van Nuys, California. More than nineteen Cal Guard Airmen received recognition for their outstanding achievements while assigned to the 261 COS during a 2019 unit deployment. The 261 COS is part of Cal Guard’s 195th Wing, which is composed of a diverse set of squadrons spread throughout the state of California, with missions spanning space operations, cyberspace protection, and combat communications.
